Ease of datastores

Datastores are eased to give access to webfiles in a standarized way. Datastores implement the logic to read and store webfiles. They also implement the conversion between webfile representation and datastore representation.

Implementation

All datastores extends the implementation of MAbstractDatastore (API-reference).

Different kinds of datastores

• generic datastores: can store multiple kinds of webfile definitions (for example: MFileDatastore, MDatabaseDatastore)
• specific datastores: can only store on type of dataype (for example: MGoogleCalendarDatastore)
• read, write datastores: webfiles can be written and read to the datastore
• read only datastores: webfiles can only be read from the datastore (for example: weather information)
